Our Beliefs
We are a Christ-centered church. We know the good news that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and through our acceptance of Him, we can have eternal life. God loves all people. We believe the Bible is God’s word. We are called to live for Him enthusiastically and serve Him in this world.

Our Ministries

Our Ministries

Childcare - Carter Cheston

We run a fully operational Childcare Center at our Church facility 5 days a week, from 6AM until 6PM. Our center is Christ-centered and a ministry of the Church to our community.

Campus & Facilities - John Allen, Al Cheston

We work hard to keep our facility clean and presentable. We have a great team which keeps our building look great.

Builders (30-49) - Jonathon & Susan Isham

This group is for adults that are in their 30’s and 40’s. Support, learning, acts of serving and encouragement are key components of the builders ministry.

Audio/Video - Jonathon Isham

An integral part of the worship ministry, the A/V team is responsible to administrate the sound and video needs of our services and special events.

Children (Gateway Kids) - Carter & Christa Cheston

Ages birth through 5th grade are invited to fun-filled classes every Sunday and Wednesday, growing together in Jesus’ love and His plan for their lives.

Focus (50+) - Al & Patty Cheston

Comprised of our senior members aged 50 and over, FOCUS is an acronym for Faithful Overcomers in Christ, United in Service. Meetings are on the first Sunday of the month after the second service.

Greeters - Jules & Gwen Boling

Our greeters set the tone for our church meetings. The first impression they present echoes the love of Jesus, welcoming us as we gather together.

Growth Groups - Jon & Cathy France, Clint & Denise Matylinski

Growth Groups meet on Wednesdays and throughout the week, providing opportunities to learn, share and grow together.  Growth groups are an essential component of discipleship.  We encourage everyone to get involved in a growth group and grow together!

Life Groups - Call Church Office

Our life groups meet in the homes of our participants to further encourage, equip, and instruct all who attend, as well as to reach those in our neighborhoods and workplaces with the love of Christ.

Office - Patty Cheston, Keri Dekker, Kirsty Holdbrook

Our office staff aid in the business arena of church life, assisting the pastors in the day-to-day operation of the church structure and ministry supply.

Prayer - Al & Patty Cheston

Prayer is foundational to all church life, as our personal interaction with our Lord and Savior to establish His kingdom and His will upon the earth. The prayer ministry prays for the needs of the church and its members on a regular basis.

Ushers & Communion -Jules & Gwen Boling

Our ushers assist in the orderly conduct of our meetings by directing people to convenient seating, receiving the offering, and aiding in the smooth operation of each service. On a monthly basis, our servers distribute the elements to the believers who wish to join in celebrating our Lord’s death and resurrection.

Water Baptism - Pastors

We believe baptism is the immersion into water and being raised up again as a way to publicly identify with what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Through baptism, we witness that Jesus cleansed us from the power and authority of sin and raised us up to a new life.

Weekly Bulletin - Keri Dekker

The bulletin is our weekly printed publication, providing information about ministries and future church activities.

Worship - Carter & Christa Cheston

We believe in the biblical expression of our thanksgiving, gratitude, and adoration to our Lord in song and music. Our worship team consists of vocalists and instrumentalists dedicated to leading the congregation through God’s gifting and calling, as well as their own heart’s desire to worship the Father.

Young Adults - Jacob & Evie Benedict

Our Young Adults ministry consists of high school graduates and college/career-age adults seeking God’s will for their lives.

Youth (Lifeline) - Matt & Jonna Colbenson

Comprised of 6th graders through high school seniors, our youth group meets weekly to be encouraged and instructed in God’s life principles, and to enjoy fun activities together.

Celebrate Recovery - Dean & Caroline Rich, Tom & Janine Anderson

Celebrate Recovery is a ministry of discipleship for all those dealing with hurts, habits, and hangups. All are welcome!
