Financial Peace University

FPU, or Financial Peace University, is a Dave Ramsey course that teaches a step-by-step plan, known as the 7 Baby Steps, to eliminate debt, save money, and build wealth. The nine-lesson program uses a combination of video lessons, group discussions, and a student workbook to provide individuals with tools and strategies for budgeting, managing money, and achieving financial goals. FPU is based upon Biblical financial principles.

Christian Mamas Connect

“Moms supporting moms. Raising our children in God’s grace.” Mamas Connect is a group designed to support Mamas at all stages of life. We will be meeting weekly during IMPACT groups and reading a book about the women of the Bible. The book is called The Women of the Bible Speak, The Wisdom of 16 Women and their Lessons for Today. We have an active presence on an app called, “Group Me” where we send supporting and
encouraging messages to each other, ask for prayer, and support each other during the busy weeks as Mamas. This is a no pressure group where we share each other’s successes as well as our challenges. We love our kids fiercely and want them to know how precious and adored they are. Join us for a great learning experience, amazing fellowship, and a much-needed support system designed specifically for Christian Mamas.

Living the Spirit Filled Life

What does it mean to live by the Spirit and to live the Spirit-filled life? The early Church lived life in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Spirit-filled life is for all of us today! In this group, we will be looking at the book of Acts and the epistles, to learn more about living the Spirit-filled life. We will learn from the scriptures and from one another. Companion books will be a part of the group, and select options will be introduced on day one, when we meet together.

Genesis: Origins

This will be a study in the mighty book of Genesis! Genesis is a hugely important book, with so much for us to learn from and understand. Not only will we be studying origins of creation and the fathers of our faith, but we will also look at connections between Genesis and life in the Kingdom of God, in Christ Jesus.

Leviticus

LEVITICUS!!? Are you serious?! I’ve heard that it’s spiritual Sominex! Yes, quite serious! So, what will you learn? Well, certainly we won’t be reviewing instructions on how to butcher your cattle for sacrifices, or what kind of flour you have to have or how to bake bread for a priest to eat! What then? Much is foundational to accurately understanding much of the rest of the Bible. We’ll see how serious God is about the need for holiness in our daily lives. For instance, what interesting thing can we learn about the sacrifice Mary brought to the Temple for Jesus’ 8th day? How big a deal is it to do things exactly as God prescribed them? What about the sins we commit in ignorance. Are we still guilty? We’ll also see the spiritual principles behind the instructions in Leviticus. We’ll gain a deeper understanding of what was amiss in the practices of the Pharisees, and the basis Jesus had for saying what he did quite often. What is “corban”? and what was wrong with what the Pharisees were doing? Are our attitudes towards what God requires of us in line with his demands? We’ll gain a greater appreciation of just how much Jesus has done and is doing for us in his office as High Priest. We’ll see things that go beyond satisfying an academic curiosity (If you even have one), things you can use every day. Join us for some “meat of the Word” without too much minutia!
